Card sketch and a prize!!

My new Thursday card sketch is up over at the Feeling Scrappy message board. I'll post it here this week as well. Everyone who completes this week's card sketch by the time the next one is posted (next Thursday) will be entered to win a couple of Grungeboard shapes to play with! Have you tried any of this chipboard yet? It's really cool! Super strong and flexible. And it has a great texture on it.

So to be entered all you have to do is use this sketch and upload your card to the card challenge thread on the FS board. I hope you play along!!!

New card sketch

What do you mean it's not Thursday today??! Ok, so I forgot to post my Thursday card challenge on the Feeling Scrappy message board. But I posted it this morning so I hope you will check it out. I still need to make mine, but I have the sketch made and posted at least. LOL Go check it out, make a card and post your results on the board so we can all ooh and ahh over it. :)

Also, I started a new blog where I will just keep my sketches. It's pretty plain right now but it does have some of the older sketches I have created. Here's the link- Sketches

Member of the Month Challenge and a sketch

Feeling Scrappy's member of the month, Peggy, had a fun menu challenge for us to complete. We had to pick the foods we wanted then she sent us a message with the recipe for a layout. I had to use a quote, 3-4 pictures, flowers and brads and a monochromatic color scheme. So here's my layout. Thanks Peggy! It was fun!

New layout!

I have created quite a few layouts over the past few weeks but most of them have been reserved for the paint class at Feeling Scrappy so I can't share them just yet. Sooooo, I decided to make a page that I COULD share last night. I have been loving all the white space I see on other people's layouts so I thought I'd give it a try and I like it! I used Bazzill bling paper (I think that's what it's called?!), CTMH paper, a CTMH stamp, CTMH brads, CTMH die cuts, Distress ink, Primas and other flowers (AC maybe?), journaling paper, and Pebbles Inc letter stickers. I think that's everything.


I hope you like it! I have a couple new sketches coming soon, too!!

Because I typically stay up too late, I am not generally well-rested in the morning. Abby's only been out of our room for a few nights so I have been out of the habit of setting an alarm. Ok, I finally got around to making a short little video. I think I sound goofy but here I am anyhow. :) Congrats Michelle and Robin-I picked something both of you suggested-embossing.
